Terms & Conditions

PRICES
All prices are in US Dollars and are subject to change without previous notice. Prices are based on one person, in double occupancy room, unless otherwise specified.

 

ITINERARY
The itineraries are planned with great care, although, for operational reasons, it may be necessary to change the sequence of activities in the itinerary or the specified route, and though such cases are exceptional, in general the itinerary should be treated only as a basic guideline.

 

DOCUMENTS 
All passengers without exception must carry their personal or familiar documentation in order. It will be on account of the same ones obtaining the passport, visa, vaccines, etc.

 

SERVICES NOT INCLUDED
The passenger is responsible for obtaining passports, visas, travel insurance, payment of excess baggage, personal requests such as extra drinks, laundry service, communication (calls, faxes, emails, etc.), national and international airport departure taxes, gratuities, or other services and fees not specified in the itinerary

 

UNUSED SERVICES
Some services may be interrupted or cancelled due to climate conditions, force majeure reasons, acts of nature, strikes, etc., or others beyond the control of the hotels, airlines, other suppliers or QUEEN TRAVEL  or its associates. No reimbursements will be made as a result of such interruptions or cancellations that escape to our control.

 

INSURANCE
We highly recommend passengers to get trip cancellation, travel repatriation and international medical insurances to cover any inconveniences that may arise during the trip. We also urge them to check with their doctor to update vaccines and review medical concerns regarding international travel.

 

HOTEL
We reserve the right to change Hotel for another of similar or higher category, if circumstances so require.

 

REFUNDS
The services that were not taken by the will of the passengers, will not be reimbursed partial or total of the cost of the package.

 

RESERVATION CONDITIONS
Reservations will be made with due anticipation via fax or email.

Modifications must be made in writing with due anticipation. In case of groups the rooming list with 10 days of anticipation to the date of the trip. Any reservation must include at least the following information of the passenger (s) or group: 

  • Full name and surname
  • Nationalities
  • Passport number
  • Birthdate.
  • Gender.
  • Restrictions on diet, if any 

The Passport number or identity document is mandatory to issue tickets for bus, train and / or air tickets.

Passengers must have a valid passport to enter our country valid for 6 months from the expected return date. Citizens of the bordering countries can enter Bolivia with the valid identity card.

 

POLICY FOR CHILDREN
Children under 2 years of age travel free of charge, those older than 2 to 5 years pay 70% of the normal rate.

 

PAYMENT
Once confirmed the reservation we must receive the full payment via Western Union

If the amount to be paid is high for groups reservations, you can make the prepayment of 50% via Western Union and the balance in cash upon arrival in Bolivia.

Until we receive the full payment of services, we reserve the right to modify rates for dollar changes and other adjustments.

All transfer costs are borne by the sender. Once the payment is made, we request the shipment via email of the Western Union guide or payment receipt where it appears:

Guide number
Name of the person who made the payment
City where the payment was made

The requested information is key to be able to perform the correct payment tracking.

 

CANCELLATIONS
If passengers wish to cancel the reserved services they must make the request in writing with a minimum of 10 days in advance to obtain the refund, applying cancellation charges if applicable. If cancellation of services contracted is made within 72 hours before the start of the trip, 50% of the total value of the package will be deducted and cancellation fees will be charged. Reservations canceled less than 72 hours will have no refunds or refunds. If passengers do not present themselves to take the services on the date indicated for any cause of force majeure, voluntary or incidental, no refund will be made of the amount paid for the services contracted.

Any change of date or modification is subject to a new quotation and availability of services.

 

NO SHOW
It is considered "no show" to the passenger who does not appear to receive the contracted service. Services that are included in a package and that were not taken by the passengers for any force majeure or fortuitous reasons will not be reimbursed in part or in full of the cost of the services.

 

MODIFICATIONS
Any change of date or modification of the confirmed reservation or of passages issued, is subject to a new quotation and availability of services, as well as payment of penalty by the provider and administrative positions of the agency.

 

SPECIAL DATES
Some services will increase their rates during holidays or special dates:

* Easter
* Carnivals
* 1st May (Labor Day)
* National Holidays (22 January, 21 June, 16 July, 06 August)
* Christmas (December 24 and 25)
* New Year (December 31 and January 1)

 

AIR TICKETS
The prices of air tickets are subject to change without prior notice until their final issue. Flight schedules are subject to change by airlines until the day of the flight. Additional restrictions, limitations, penalties and / or specific conditions may be specified by airlines.

The 100% payment must be made for the issue of the tickets. Actual rates are subject to availability at time of purchase and rate basis (refunds and changes allowed / not permitted, penalties are applied / not applied, etc.). Tickets are non-refundable or non-endorsable in case of cancellation.

 

LUGGAGE
It is recommended that tourists arriving in Bolivia have their own travel insurance, and that they have coverage for lost luggage. QUEEN TRAVEL can not be held responsible for:

* Lost or delayed luggage during domestic or international flights.
* Hand items, or personal items.
* Objects forgotten by passengers in hotels, vehicles or places, or during the trip.
We recommend our passengers not to include any valuable items in their luggage during the transfer.

 

RESPONSIBILITY
Queen Travel acts only as an intermediary between passengers and service providers such as air, land, river or lake transport, lodging, restaurants and any other service provider, declining all responsibility for delay or cancellation of services or flights, delay of buses, Trains, lost, lost luggage, accidents caused during the development of services.

Queen Travel does not assume any expenses or reimbursement for departures and / or arrivals of aircraft, buses or trains, loss of luggage, documents and belongings of passengers, loss of flights or connections in air or land transportation, or change of itineraries by Social conflicts, strikes, natural events, for other reasons of force majeure or any change of itinerary beyond our control.

Queen Travel reserves the right to withdraw, change or modify the itinerary, or a specific program or activities when deemed necessary for the benefit of the passengers. It reserves the right to modify booking procedures, terms and conditions and / or program prices at any time without notice. It reserves the right to take photographs or film records of any of its travels, and to use such photograph or film records for promotional and / or commercial purposes.
